The V International Symposium on Colorectal Cancer from Sírio-Libanês Hospital Prof. Daher Cutait, to be held on 4 & 5 March 2021, will be online and, this year, there will be no enrollment fee for all participants. As usual, the Symposium will have distinguished
national and international speakers and, in this edition, the same format used in the previous year will be repeated, with the discussion of relevant cases, followed by correlated specific presentations.
2021 is a landmark year for us as it marks 100 years of the foundation of Sociedade Beneficente de Senhoras - Hospital Sírio-Libanês.
Among the scientific celebrations, is the V International Symposium on Colorectal Cancer - Prof. Daher Cutait, which pays tribute to an exceptional person in the history of national and international coloproctology who has
directed Sírio-Libanês Hospital for over three decades, defining healthcare excellence standards that guide our institution.
The 2021 version of the Symposium, which will be held on 4th and 5th March, will be totally online due to the sad pandemic that besets the world and this year there will be no enrollment fee for the participants.
Once again, we will have distinguished national and international speakers, and the structure that participants enjoyed so much in the previous version will be kept, i.e., discussion of relevant cases, followed by correlated specific presentations. “We would like this Symposium to generate information that can be taken to clinical practice by each participant, and the target public will be coloproctologists, digestive surgeons and general surgeons from Brazil, Latin America and other regions of the world”, says Prof. Raul Cutait, coordinator of the event.
